Mockingjays

So I have this theory, might be dumb.
But I think a lot of Mockingjays are hidden in District 13.
And they'll side with Katniss and the rest to bring down those Jabbersjays!?

Have ideas?

i agree on the District 13 part... and unfortunatly there is a slight problem with your other idea...



the Jabberjays mated with the Mockingbirds before they went extinct in the wild which is how you get Mockingjay... it says it in either H.G. or C.F.

Yeah, but remember in THG, it said that Rue would sing to the mokingjays and they'd sing back? Well, this was in District 11 and Katniss has seen one or some in the woods in District 12.

that is kinda possible... the surviving rebels could live there and maybe they have this prophecy that there was gonna be a teenage girl who would bring the Capital and Games to an end!!!

I agree with Libiel, prophecies are more Harry Potter, The Hunger Games have a more unique style.

And I doubt District 13 wants any saving, especially if they've survived in secret as long as they have.

judging from Katniss's observations, the people in the districts don't seem to be they type to be forming prophesies. With the government controlling everything people say do and know, I don't think the citizens of Panem would be able to organize to come up with prophesies or religious beliefs. If they barely know about other countries and continents, they probably don't think a lot about religion or philosophy. Philosophy, especially, encourages people to form different opinions and disagree; something the Capitol would want to prevent. Since District 13 is made up of refugees and rebels from the other districts, I'm guessing the people in District 13 wouldn't be waiting for prophesies to come true either. They seem to use symbols a lot (i.e.: the mockingjay) though. But District 13 planned the infiltration of the Capitol and must have either been inspired by the revolts in other districts (or possibly started them) and Katniss's more rebellious nature.
If it is a prophesy then it would be a self-fulfilling prophesy. Perhaps they've just been planning to revolt for a long time and needed the perfect opportunity.

That's alright, we can still be open to other possibilities as to why the prophecies wouldn't work.
