I vote Hugh Laurie all the way he's PERFECT!!! I mean who better represents Haymitch than House?!!!!!!!!!

ya he shows the like struggle with the drugs and stuff in that one episode... think what he could do with alcohol... probably plays a pretty good drunk too lol

Not to mention his age I think could work because he's not that old, and the sarcasm he's got down to a science I mean besides him the only person I could think of was the guy who played Brom in Eragon, don't remember his name but idk I don't get the feeling he'd be as good of a drunk lol

just now for some reason i thought of Mel Gibson as Haymitch (Braveheart, Patriot, Hamlet)

*i havent seen Braveheart yet but in Patriot and Hamlet he kinda goes "crazy" n i think one time he was drunk in one of them but in both of them when he goes "crazy" he did a really good job so maybe when Haymitch has his nightmares Gibson could play it?
