Right on, but I's take some of them a little less literally:

to be the last one standing - the victor

teach me wrong from right - the tricks from the mentors or learning what you have to do to survive and deciding if you are willing to pay the price (Katniss talks in one of the books how every killing and every death has a price and it stays with you forever)

ill show you what i can be - transforming into a survivor

ill leave this life behind me - dying in the arena or turning into a different person because of what happens and what you are forced to do in the arena



I also forgot the first line of the song "These prison gates won't open up for me" - like being trapped in the arena

Yeah the part about teach me wrong from right really makes me think of the fact that when is it right to kill and when is it not? I know a friend of mine who said she would just let herself be killed in the arena because she wouldn't be willing to kill, but then me I have a pretty good feeling I'd last pretty long in the arena and when I got there I would be ruthless and feel little remorse for what I did to have to stay alive... So whose right? Me and my will to live or her for her unwillingness to kill. Teach me wrong from right...

Let the Flames Begin by Paramore - I'm surprised no one has mentioned that one.

Fences by Paramore also works really well. Not so much musically, but lyrically it's perfect.

I think everyone knows those songs fit the books
but no need to mention it, I think.

It'd be nice to put them up, though, as some may not have heard them.
