| At the beginning of Catching Fire, Peeta and Katniss have nightmares. Don't they all come true sometime during the book? Katniss has fears about the arena, and their deaths, and then they go back when being chosen for the Quarter Quell. Peeta has dreams about losing Katniss, and at the end of the book, they're separated.  What do you guys think? | |

| I noticed that too. I kind makes me believe that there is going to be some "connection" thing in the last book. | |

| I think it's sort of unintentional, because it is pretty normal to dream about your biggest fears. The connections have gone unnoticed by the characters so far, so maybe it's just them jinxing their futures rather than foreshadowing it?
Either way, it's a great way of letting the readers figure out what's going to happen next. | |

| I think having Peeta take up painting is really interesting and how in order for him to sleep well he has to paint the games.... usually i would think some1 else who has been that traumatized by killing people would not want to paint something they want to forget..... am i missing the picture in all that? | |

| Peeta paints the pictures maybe to reveal the pain and gory scenes he's
seen in his two years straight being in the Games.
To me it makes sense. | |
